Brockleigh represents a fictitious country station in Somerset serving a rural community inspired by the Taunton to Barnstaple line prior to the implementation of Beeching’s infamous reshaping report of the 1960s. However, due to the layout’s construction, it can represent almost any era from early GWR, British Railways and Preservation.
A mix of passenger and goods services stop here to service the communities, featuring a passing loop, small goods yard, working signals and a viaduct over a small river that cuts through the landscape.
Brockleigh has just been upgraded to DCC running.
