Llanfair Rhyd depicts the upper terminus of a “Ffestiniog” style narrow gauge railway in North Wales. The time frame has been chosen to be loose to allow running as if a preserved railway as well as in late Victorian times. The layout has been designed to run either as DC or DCC and is compatible with Freem009 standards to join up with other layouts.
The layout is free-standing with lighting attached to the layout. Track level is 1m from ground and operated from the rear.
